[Theqoo - Hot] [Exclusive] NewJeans fandom Bunnies submits petition against Min Heejin's dismissal


Hello. We are fans who care and love NewJeans.


The group NewJeans is an idol group who debuted on July 2022 and has received a lot of love from the public. Now, just two years after their debut, they are growing with the expectation that they will become a globally recognized idol group representing K-Pop.

However, at this crucial moment when our beloved NewJeans is poised for significant growth, a dispute has arisen between the parent company HYBE and the subsidiary ADOR, led by CEO Min Heejin. As a result, both NewJeans and the fans are in a very anxious state.

We are fans who purely love NewJeans, and we are not very interested in legal disputes between the company management rights or shareholders, but the biggest concern is that such disputes may have a negative impact on NewJeans and limit their future activities. Therefore, as fans of NewJeans, we have submitted a petition to the court.

We are well aware of the fact that HYBE has made a large investment in NewJeans, and CEO Min Heejin has shown more passion and responsibility for NewJeans than anyone else, helping the group grow and ensuring stable profits for ADOR. We believe she has been faithful to her duties as CEO.

Currently, HYBE has requested to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to dismiss CEO Min Heejin while CEO Min Heejin has applied for an injunction against exercising voting rights based on the shareholder agreement with HYBE. The court is nearing a decision after recent hearings.

Regarding this, our position as NewJeans' fanclub is as follows.

Until it is legally concluded that CEO Min Heejin has enganged in unlawful behaviour, the terms of the contract between the parties should be respected and until then, we hope that CEO Min Heejin will continue to hold her position as CEO of ADOR, as desired by the members of NewJeans. We are well aware of the intentions of NewJeans members who wish for this.

All of our fan club members who care about NewJeans fully recognize the achievements that CEO Min Heejin has achieved for NewJeans, and we hope that the relationship with NewJeans members will remain as strong as it is now We believe that this is the best direction to continue supporting NewJeans' growth.

We earnestly ask that the court carefully consider our opinions and help NewJeans continue to focus on their music without any harm, and for the fans to support NewJeans with peace of mind.
